Fine art met courture when we kicked off the holiday season with a martini party at the Gallery.

Beth Watkins, Eddie Mannis, Liz Gobrecht, Bart Watkins,  jewelry designers Sarah Knox and Liz Anderson and artist Jeanne Leemon enjoy unique martinis created by Terrance Pate of Cedar Bluff Wine and Spirits for the Liz-Beth Martini Party.

Over two hundred people attended the reception that featured the newest works from award winning painter Jeanne Leemon of Loudon County and a jewelry trunk show by Nashville designers Liz Anderson and Sarah Knox.  Prestige Formal Wear showed off the hottest new styles in men’s formal wear.

We are proud to be the exclusive gallery for Jeanne Leemon’s work.  Jeanne is a self taught, multi-faceted artist, who specializes in painting still-life figures, and landscapes in both oil and pastel.  Jeanne has won many awards for her work including an Honorable Mention twice for her pastel work in the Annual Pastel 100 Competition in 2009 and 2010.  Images of her paintings were published in the magazine’s April 2009 and 2010 issues.  Leemon was also named twice as a finalist for her oil paintings in both the still-life and portrait categories in The Artist’s Magazine’s Annual Art Competition in 2001 and 2006

Award winning painter Jeanne Leemon was the featured artist at the party.

This was the first time we featured the work of twins Liz Anderson and Sara Knox well known jewelry designers who are native Knoxvillians.  The twins were inspired to be artists by their paternal grandmother Fern Calfee, an oil painter who resided in the first log cabin built in Townsend.

Their unique designs favor the luster and patina of golden hued bronze and firey copper.  Each piece of hand-shaped and hammered jewelry is adorned with gemstones and pearls.  The colors of the changing seasons are reflected in gemstone color choices inspired by nature.
