Greenbrier Spring Giclee Print By Jim Gray
The Litttle Pigeon River flows out of the mountains in the Greenbrier Section of the Great Smokies National Park. Fed by rain, melting snow and thousands of springs, it runs clear and cold. The new greens and yellows of Springtime invite folks from far and near. The mayor of Pittman Center, Glen Cardwell, lived very near this spot before the Park came into existance. He tells the story of Adam and Eve wandering after being put out of the Garden of Eden. Coming over the hill and seeing the Greenbrier valley before them, Adam said to Eve, "Look my dear, paradise is found."
